VFS is producing a big student project to create an application on smart phone or ipad or HP Lovecraft stories.
I took the roll of becoming the interactive designer for two stories: “Rats in the Wall” and “Dunwich Horror”

There is no guide to what we have to do, therefore the teams had the greatest time brainstorming. We explored any ideas possible, but at the same time, we are lost in the ideas.
Most of the times we are so caught up in the new features a ipad can do, thus we lost our main focal point of the theme. Thanks to our wonderful art director and instructors, we went for the right approach and created a theme for each story.

Personally, I found the roll to be overwhelming since I also had a final project working at the same time. It is very hard to balance three project meetings, all the long hours of meeting, and classes on top of all that. At a point in time, I felt that none of the project is going in the right direction and was depressed at my choice to enter the Lovecraft project. Thanks to my teammates, who cheers me up and encouraged me to go further now I can present a wonderful Interactive Design Document for “Rats in the Wall” and a Wire frame document for “Dunwich Horror.”

Great job everyone and I have to say, I dreamt about my eyes falling out of my eye socket the other day after finishing the wire frames. They are going to be “horrifyingly” good.

After a whole term of not touching 3D I decided to create a short video for the Advance 3D class.
