dd15roberta_3d2_a2

I enjoyed this assignment for a special reasons: the frog is “Fro”, the main character of “What’s up, Fro?”, short story in 3d that my boyfriend Lucas Peres is creating for his final project on the 3d program at VFS. He gave me as a .obj and I worked with the textures in C4D and finished in AE later. Thank you for letiin’me use Fro, “meu bem”!

final assignment - 3d1

3D1 - Final assignment

I had to create an animation that represents the culmination of all I have learned in 3D Graphics 1. I had complete creative freedom, and I could do whatever I wanted. So I thought about all the techniques I’ve learned in class so far, and decided to push myself on the reflections for this one, that is something that I love in C4d. Have fun :)

title sequence

title

Here is a title sequence that I created based on an imaginary heist film about a gang who communicates through graffiti on trains. They’re a subculture that is defined by their music, style, and love of adrenaline.
The final scene I didn’t like at all. If I have time, it will be improved.

three renders

In this assignment, I had the mission to think as  a cinematographer and director.  Light and compose a single scene using the techniques we learned in class. I experimented with volumetrics, global illumination, shadows, multiple lights, depth of field, etc. I created three lighting setups, each one rendered from a different camera angle to convey different impressions, like cool, scary, lonely, energetic, foreboding, moody, etc.

This was my second desktop image for 3D1. The goal was to apply the texturing techniques we learned in Lesson 2,I think. I did some experiments with transparencies, reflections, bump maps, colours, gradients and noise.

case study

zenI’ve posted here my case study for Glow Beverage Tea. The goal was to develop a brand strategy, and  researches thru the target audience and thru competitive brands.
After all these stages, create all the needed assets, like a new logo, package for the tea, all based in the creative brief that we will develop along the process.
