In a TED talk, Stefan Sagmeister (renowned graphic designer for his album covers, posters, and recent books on life lessons) shares his unique view about the power of time off. One of those most intriguing parts of his talk is the idea that we spend around the first 25 years of our life focused on learning, the next 40 years are dedicated to work (and lots of it in our industry) and around 15 years towards the end of our lives are reserved for retirement.

Basically when your mobile device run out of battery, you simply remove it from the back of the phone and give it a few good turns around your index finger, then it could gathered enough power to last you a conversation or a safe trip to your charger and electric point. Sweet!!!

Incheon Main Stadium – the stadium concept for 17th Asian Games 2014 in Incheon (Third largest city in South Korea) has been designed to house 70,000 people and a single sided park where another 30,000 people can enjoy their visit. The design of the stadium is based on an uneven configuration with corporate and management facilities on its permanent western side, ensuring both construction and operation efficiencies.

Freeband Communication and IIPIC share a vision of the future: a world in which information and communication technology render one’s surroundings into a thinking and caring environment. The results of the Freeband Communication research program should be visualized in a compelling film. I approached the material using infographics to explain the vast quantities of data. To create a relationship with the continuing technology the film starts with a minimalist introduction in a narrow color spectrum and gradually transitioned to an abundant, multicolored world.

While I’m browsing the web tonight and find this interesting video by Dvein, which is created two years ago. Famous fashion brand Diesel is a special guest at Pitti Fashion Event in Florence. Creation of new concept is one of the main objective for the fashion show. The purpose is also to impact audience using holographic technology to create a whole world of undersea creatures that would be combined with models walking along the catwalk.

Unsure if I’m in love with Typography or not, but I notice every time I look at typography image and video on blogs, I could not wait to write post on my blog to share with others.
